Post  Haggis Mon Jul 11, 2011 3:25 pm

Haggis jumped off Henry's boat, meaning to land nicely on both of his feet. However he ended up slipping on the gravely send of the beach and stumbled forward, attempting to catch his balance. Instead he managed to fall face first into the floor, earning himself a whole face of gravel. Groaning, Haggis sat up and spat some pebbles out of his mouth with a disgusted face. Laughing nervously, he turned around to thank the boatman, but the boat was already gone, fading into the foggy distance. He sat there, his hands holding him up, and stared out at the boat stupidly until the fog finally consumed all of it.

With a deep sigh, Haggis stood up and brushed off his dark shirt, frowning unhappily when he spotted the small dirt stains around the edges, and the small fraying strands of fabric. The wind blew pretty harshly, but Haggis was used to it. This was Scotland, after all. He was born in that wonderful land. He stared ahead at the path he was supposed to take. It wasn't narrow, but it wasn't wide. It was somewhere in the middle.

"Well, no use stan'in 'ere like a goat..." Haggis began, but stopped to rethink his analogy, "Wai'....No." He shook his head. It didn't matter at the moment. He reached down and rolled up his gray pants before taking in a deep breath. That was the way to Lillegard Castle....

"Well, fo'ow the yellow...dir' road." He shrugged, shoving his hands in his pockets and peering around rather nervously before walking forward. They said that it would take him 24 hours to walk. Haggis didn't mind. It gave him a chance to enjoy the scenery and, who knew, meet someone who was also walking.
