W-which way?

Callan looked down the dirt road in confusion, her white hair sightly out of place due to the wind.
"Surely I have already been this way before... Or have I?.. No this way is new... Or was it the other way?" She looked back they way she had came, there was no sign of the boatman or even the sea now, just more and more trees. Getting nervous she starts to play with her fingers, head turning to all possible ways to walk but finding herself more overcome with nerves and fear she starts to tear up.
"I-i don't know w-where I am. H-he said t-to follow the r-road... b-but w-which way?!" Sighing in defeat she suddenly sits down in the middle of the road with a Plonk.

Terri was flying over the dirt road....he'd heard that there were a few new people coming to the academy. and of course, terri's curiosity always caused him to want to see who it was. as he flew, he spotted a figure that very nearly reminded him of yuuki---except her hair was white. yuuki's hair was rarely white. as he watched, the girl seemed rather disoriented. she would walk in one direction, turn, go the opposite way, and then return to original position. he blinked, curiously, before coming to land as the new girl sat down, looking a tad defeated. cheerily, terri landed....kind of running a tad as he hit the ground from his momentum...and gave her a bright smile. "well, you look lost," his smile widened a little more, teasingly.



((don't worry, he is wearing a black tank top, unlike his pic ^^. and you're doing fine with your RP. just be careful not to God-mod...ie: say the other person's character did something before they actually did))

Deneli made her way down the dirt road actually skipping. She had only swam at the beach since arriving at the acadamy and had a sudden urge to swim by the dock instead. Before she used to live in the water's not far from Port Sisco, so close, in fact, that they actually called the underwater town Sisco. She didn't know how it would be, but had a strange sense that swimming the two locations would be different from eachother.

Looking up she saw a flash of orange in the and had an immediate guess who it might be. She picked up her pace and went from skipping to running, something that she was beginning to consider as a dangerous act for her. She didn't stop when she saw the winged boy ahead of her and managed to actually make it to him without finding something to trip over.

"Terri!!" She called excitedly. She came to an abrupt stop beside, very nearly falling over at the last second, and could feel the water sloshing around in the four or five bottles she carried in her bag. Already she'd gone through one and was working on the second.

She looked up Terri with a broad smile. She'd never gotten the chance to thank him for being so nice to her when the headmistress locked them all in the dining hall. She wanted to hug him. but refrained from doing so. Kindness was something she never forgot.

She looked down the path and saw a white-haired with amazing ears, sitting on the road and giggled not realizing that she seemed upset, "Hi!"

((Lol Habs had me read Callan's app because she thought her and Deneli were too similar and I decided I wanted Deneli to meet Callan XD and I dont know where this long reply came from either >.>))

Callan jumped. She was in the middle of retracing her steps in her head for the Nth time when she was startled by the loud thump coming from behind, followed by some light running footsteps. She looked up as a winged stranger came running down the path towards her telling her that she looked lost. Callan tilted her head and sniffed as she wiped the near falling tears from her eyes. With her eyes glues to the strangers wings she decided to answer.

"I-i guess I a-am. I've been d-down and a-around and up and a-across an-" She hiccups, cutting off her own sentence. "You have w-wings". She comments randomly still staring at the strangers wings.
Hearing more running footsteps she turns her white haired head again and sees another stranger coming the opposite way from the other. Though this one was of the opposite gender. The newest stranger greets her giggling.

"O-oh, um.. hello."

Raye padded along the Dirt Road on four legs with her tail wagging happily.

She had gone almost an hour without tripping! She was so proud of herself.

A congregation of people a few yards away peaked her interest and she bound forwards, shifting when she was a few metres away. "Hello all, how are we this fine day?" she asked brightly, brushing some of her purple hair from her visible eye.

"hey, deneli." Terri peered curiously at all the water bottles she was carrying, but at Callan's reply he turned back to her, squating to get more down to her height as she sat in the road, "hey, its ok," ^^. he grinned at her, hoping to cheer her up. at her random comment, he gave his wings a little, silly flap. "that's not the craziest thing at this school, believe me." suddenly, a new figure--one that Terri was fairly sure he hadn't seen before, as it was a wolf, suddenly padded up to them--and spoke! he randomly wondered if she was like Danny....it was possible. "er--hi!" he said brightly.


(wow, this thread picked up some speed! its crazy to try and think of who to reply to first!)

Deneli grew excited as the path began to get crowded, particularly when the talking wold appeared. She'd never seen a wolf before, and oddly enough was more amazed at that than at the orange-winged boy. Just this once, however, she stopped her curiosity from getting the better of her, and instead of going towards the wolf she skipped to the girl on the ground.

She plopped down on the ground beside Terri and the white-haired girl, "I'm Deneli!" She introduced, then pointed at Terri, "And this is Terri." She turned her to look at the wolf, and invitingly asked, "Whats your name?" When she truned back to Terri and the girl she giggled, "Your ears are cool-looking."

Realising she hadn't shifted back like she thought she had, Raye sighed and put much more effort into taking on a more human form. She had begun to like the slightly more animalistic form that involved fangs, ears, a tail and glowing red eyes.

Her brightly coloured hair bounced when she scrambled from her kneeling position and a grin overtook her lips. "Raye-Majick."


"Thanks, Deneli," she said in the mermaids direction. And then a large grin was sent in Terri's direction. "You still married to Ndale?"

Callan tilted her head when she heard the wing boy reply and smiled.
"I-i've never met a land b-being with wings b-before, they are very p-pretty." Lowering her head shyly she blushed.
Through her hair she could see a large wolf making it's way towards them.. the strangest yet... it spoke! Being the polite girl she was, she answered the wolf back.
"I g-guess I am okay, though I s-seem to be lost." Hearing a plop next to her she once again turned her head.
"So, you are Daneli and you, Terri and miss wolf is Raye?" She pointed to the respectful people in turn. "It's nice to meet you all, my name is Callan." Callan then blushed harder at the complement to her ears.

"T-thank you, though, may I ask, what kind of Land beings are you all?"

"well, Raye i believe that we are now in the affair stage....with other people," he laughed, jokingly. "besides, as you can see, i could not refrain from eating my gummy-ring." he looked at callan. "nice to meet you! you know, you remind me of my sister," he said brightly. "i bet you'd like her! she's a Dragon-morph, like me...er, well, there are only four of us, so i guess we're not an officail species..." he grinned at the compliment and flapped his wings lightly again. he thought it funny to be called a "land being"...mostly because he seemed to spend most of his time in the air.

Deneli laughed again and gave Callan a sly look, "Who said we all had to be land beings? Terri's got wings so I think that makes him more of an air being, and I'm a mermaid which makes me a sea being. Between the three of us the only land being would have to be Raye. I'm guessing you're not a land being either, Callan." Deneli kept repeating the word "being" simply because it had been the way Callan worded it. This was something she often found herself doing simply to avoid any confusion since her written language at home was different then it was here. There were certain words in her home that didn't exist at Lillegard and vice versa.

Deneli looked at Raye then at Terri. "Well I didn't think you and Kitty would have lasted long anyway." She giggled.

Raye grinned a little. "I ate Ndale's gummy ring so it's all good."

The Jinn smiled at Callan. "Yeah, by Deneli's process of elimination, I'm the only land being. I'm a wolf Jinn." She held out her hand. "It's a pleasure to meet you."

"Well i guess that would be true, b-being a air-being that is. Hehehe." Callan blushed. "I would love to meet your sister! I don't stay in one place too long so I don't have too many friends. And yup! I am a sea-being," She grins. "I am a Nickar... though... i guess i am not very popular with them either. I don't agree with their ways."

A hand then appeared in front of her face, reaching up she took the hand and shook it gently. "It's n-nice to meet you Miss Raye. I hope we all can be good friends!"

Terri grinned, happy at the new girl's suggestion to be friends. he decided right then that he liked callan. he grinned. "don't worry, a little rebellion is good for your health," he laughed. "why don't we all walk back to the castle together? that way, you wont get lost again," he grinned, and gently nudged her shoulder with his wing at that last bit--almost conspiratorially, though mostly just teasing.

Deneli stood up quickly, getting restless from sitting too long even though it had only been a few minutes. "A nickar? I've never heard of that," she giggled. "You actually live underwater, though usually? Like me?"

Of course Deneli had never hears a Dragon-morph or a wolf Jinn either, but she was excited to be meeting someone else similar to herself. Maybe a nickar was just another kind of mermaid?

A grin split Raye's face. "Firends sounds good."

Raye had a feeling she'd be making a lot of friends at the academy.

"I guess so, b-but i don't like to get others into t-trouble so... i tend not to do anything b-bad." Callan's ear twitches as she is nudges by Terri's wing, making her pearl white hair move slightly and making her giggle.

"The Nickar are the descendants of Nymph demons and Nixie spirits... but it seems i am the only one that took after the Nixies... i felt so alone there, I had to leave, before anything bad happened." Callan explained still smiling. "Normally I live underwater most of the time so I am a sea-being." Callan grins. "But land-being are soo fun and exciting that I love it up here on land."

"A-any-who. I-i'd love to walk back to the castle w-with you all. Now you a-are all my f-friends, i feel so happy!" Callan made to move from her spot on the floor. "Ready?"

Terri grinned and bounced up on to the balls of his feet. "definitely friends," he laughed and slung a wing around callan's shoulders, like someone would do with their arm to one of their buddies. his good-natured humor and hyperness could lead him to be seen as a bit of a dork sometimes, but that was who he was, and he wasn't stopping now, that was for sure.


(i need to stop with all the short posts, but i suck at RPing as terri right now, when he's not interacting with another of my chars. it'll get better, i hope--it'll just take some time

Deneli gave a wide grin and began to walk back to Raye. She already she'd be good friends with Callan especially. Almost every at Lillegard was a "land-being". The only other "sea-being" she'd met was Hryshen, the gym teacher, though, being the gym teacher, she was a lot more dextrous than Deneli could ever hope to be.

She spoke over her should to Callan as she walked now, "Yeah, the people here are all really nice and the food is really different then what I'm used to." She turned to face Callan and Terri again when she reached Raye. Then she gave a giggle, "Wait'll you see the castle."

Raye's tail wagged lightly as she strolled back towards the castle with the others. "From what I've seen while on The Epic Adventures of Raye-Majick, this place is really great. You'll fit in right away," she assured the Nickar with a lazy grin.

Her foot caught a pebble on the path and the ground tilted up to make acquaintance with her face. "This here is my best friend at the academy. If you're as graceful as I am, you'll be meeting with it regularly." She patted the ground a couple of times before climbing back to her feet and giving the three an impish grin. Clumsy as an ox...

Definitely friends "Yaay! I'm glad!" She laughed.

Callan couldn't help but feel excited about walking to the castle or even the castle in general!

I was told the castle is REEAAALLLLYY big! That means that there will be lots and lots and lots of people there. Callan mentaly squeeled inside her head.
Hopefully i can make more great friends like Terri and Deneli and Raye! Oh, i should add them to my list! My first names on the list! I feel so happy! Callan then smiled as she added her new three friends to her mental friends list.

Snapping herself out of her head she started to walk forwards. "I can't wait! I have only tried a few land-being things. Like chips! and... umm... some sort of bird... i think it was a chicklin? I haven't been up here for long, i don't know much."

Seeing her wolf friend reunite with her 'best friend' she couldn't help but try to hold down a laugh.
"Hehe- I-hehe- I'm sorry! hehe- are you-hehehe- okay?hehehe" She skipped up to where Rayes nose was planted in the ground.

Terri zipped forward to where raye had fallen. "i'm quite acquainted with it as well," he replied with a little laugh. he turned toward Deneli and Calan. "oh, you mean chicken? yeah, that's really good, especially with honey. wait until you try ice cream....and burgers. a lot of food here is really good, but some of it really should be eaten in moderation.....unless you're like me and burn more calories in a day than you could eat in a week." he chuckled and poked at his rather skinny physique.

Deneli put a fingerto her chin, trying to remember. "I dont think I've had chicken yet. Ooo! I had these things that are shaped like bowties! And they're hard and salty." She tried to think back to the sleep over they'd had. "I think Shae said they were called brownies." She shrugged and let out a giggle, "I still prefer seafood, though."

She watched Raye get back up from the ground and crossed her arms in front of her chest, pouting. "It's a mean friend though! It's hard getting used to walking on land when you've been underwater your whole life." She looked back to Callan, hoping, rather than expecting, she would agree.

((By the way, the salty bowties are pretzels. Shae lied to her XD))

"Yeah, I'm great," the Jinn replied, brushing dirt from her cheek. She ran her fingers through her bangs and grimaced at the feel of the dirt. "Well, I guess I'm having a shower tonight."

"You have tried anything until you've had lamb. It can take a while to catch, but it's worth it," Raye murmured, eyes drifting off and out of focus as memories of her old hunting days plagued her. "The fun is in the hunt, ne?"

"Ah, the ground isn't that mean. We're the ones that keep popping in for surprise visits, ne?" she chuckled, shoving her hands in her jacket pockets.

Callan excitedly hopped up and down like a child on smarties, white hair goning alover the place.

"That's the one! Chicken!" She turned and grabbed the other sea-beings shoulders."It's sooo delicious! You HAVE to try it Deneli! And you have to try icecream and burgers a-and lamb and everything with me too!" She grinned at her new friends.

At deneli's comment on the brownies she had tasted Callan grinned more... until the mention of seafood came up.

"Seafood? Hmm..Fish or seaweed? I only eat seaweed because if I eat fish.. well we are like fish right? I don't want to see like a cannibal or anything to anyone... I've never tried fish."
