The return of the zombies.......?

The lonely dirt road wasn't quite so lonely, for now a human corpse made it's way up the road heading to the castle. The corpse appeared male and was wearing a rather awkward smile as if not used to smiling. He toted behind him a small suitcase. All in all, from a distance, he looked like a normal human with no limps or twitches of a creature brought back to life. Then again, he wasn't a creature brought back to life, but he sure looked the part.

Kufer stopped at a point that gave him a good view of the school he was now going to be part of. He was somewhat impressed, not expecting the castle to be quite so large. He looked back to the dock, realizing it was quite a ways away, suddenly more glad than before that he found this body as he had. Walking all that way with his old body, he'd have been a pile of parts. He noticed that the boat man was already gone and felt a little relieved having had one of the most uncomfortable rides with the Scottish man.

Kufer soon returned to his short trek to the castle fraught with no danger. Maybe he could actually make some lasting friends for once, don't get that very often when you're a body-stealing creature. He pouted a little remembering the many times he'd been called a body-stealer. Did they think it was fair for his kind to die away? Humans often pressed about the issue of endangered animals, well he wasn't much different. He shook his head, "No need to worry about that, I'm positive the students and staff of this school have no qualms with a creature just trying to survive."

It had seemed that the little fox boy made his way about exploring the grounds of the castle. This time though he found himself wandering a little further than he had hoped back to the dirt rode he had first began his journey. Looking at the sky Zerda enjoyed the view and could only smile as the clouds rolled on by. For one reason or the other he wanted to turn back but kept going. Perhaps his instincts were in tune with something else out there.

Wandering a little further the little fox boy ended up seeing something interesting in the distance. Ears perked to the peak of their ability and he quickly bolted behind a bush that had happened to be by the side of the road. With a tilt of his head he could only watch the figure walk past, but of course his interest made him more likely to investigate than to run. The blood of his ancestors always told him to get out, but he ignored it like usual and went about his business. Hell he had not died yet, so what danger could possibly come from this.

Leaning in a little to get a better look, Zerda just could notice how pale the person before him looked. Strange.....Only had he seen this when people were scared beyond their actual limits. "Aw is he scared?" Zerda thought to himself and as he did a sudden excitement emerged in him and his tail expressed it beyond its usual limits. Popping out of the bush Zerda stood behind the male. "HI HI!" He said with a tone of an energetic child seeing their family or friend. "Who are you? Are you scared of something? I see that you are pale.....veeeeeeeerrryyyy pale!" With a tilt of his head, Zerda's bangs swung in front of his face and his smile symbolized nothing but innocence as a child would have.

As he walked on, his mind was thinking over the new oppurtunities he'd have here. Teachers that he knew would be able to help him reach his goal, other inhuman creatures that he could, maybe, become allies with. The viret did like it when their troubles were sympathized with. It had occurred to him that he would have a much hard time getting new bodies, hopefully those in charge would gladly help.

Kufer's thought's were interrupted by a feeling of being watched. He looked around, unsure what was out there. That was another downside, he didn't know which students would be 'safe' and which would be dangerous. He continued to walk but kept his awareness up as much as possible. He was positive he heard something after a moment. He thought ignoring it would help but the sudden appearance of a young voice behind him.

Kufer looked over his shoulder at the person that came. Instead of a reply of 'Hello' he turned to face the person with an almost animated expression, thoug his smile was still pretty lop-sided, "How interesting~ A human with fox-like attributes." He was quiet a moment, "Thoug if you're not human than I apologize. I'm Kufer Vien....Scared?....Not at all....I just don't have any blood so my skin has no color."

Zerda watched as the expression on this males face was....not quite right, but was still visible to understand. A smile perked up on the young males face once again as his tail continued to wag back and forth with the introduction of a new member. "I like your name! Mines Zerda Vulpes, and I'm happy to meet you!" Wanting to go in and taste a bloodless body, Zerda resisted and pushed his persisting tongue back into his mouth. "Your lucky....I sometimes wish I had no blood.....Then I wouldn't cry tears made of it." It was true the tears made of blood hurt more than that of normal ones as it was thicker and made more effort to get out.

The small frown on the fox's face quickly dispersed as he wanted to make sure not to bum out the new person before him. A tilt of his head and hop in his step had him walking around the male observing. " You wanna be my friend! I love friends!" He said with that childish voice once again. Zerda didn't think he met a person on the island who despised his company, though maybe some didn't care to be a good friend just a simple acquaintance? None the less Zerda wanted as many friends as his little arms could hold even if it meant taking turns in holding them all!

Glancing between Kufer and the castle he began to wonder who this student would be bunking with. This then reminded him of the redecoration of his room that he had been planning for a while. It would have to wait though.

Kufer couldn't help chuckling a little at the childish personality of the small boy. He never really had qualms against those that acted like children, it was cute, though depending on the people it could get annoying. He looked at the fox for a moment and came to the decision that this kid would never get annoying, the childish routine just worked.

Kufer smiled, "Thank you, your names is the bee's knees as well." He chuckled, glad to have met such a nice student in the beginning. He blinked, "You cry blood? Is it voluntary? If not I could help as much as I could in fixing it." He reached out but held back a moment before softly patting the boy. "And about being friends, why not? Friends are far greater than that of enemies."

Zerda's smile went into a sudden one of confusion, "Bee's Knees? That's good right?" People and their terms now a days confused the fox boy. As he listened to Kufer he just shook his head, "No no one can fix it. It just comes on its own and well, just it will never go away." He wasn't lying either he has asked people before to help him, but once they looked into his eyes......." They are nothing but bad luck to look at so, just leave them be is how I feel about it."

"Yaaaay we can be friends!" He said quickly attempting to change the subject on his eyes. He was happy that he was going to able to be mates, play mates, with Kufer. Jumping up and down for a moment he then became quite still as he came closer to the male. "M-May I taste you?" As strange the question was he just wanted to get a better understanding of the males body before him. How did one with no blood taste like? Oh he could barely contain his curiosity.

Kufer nodded, "Yeah, it does...." He laughed embarrassedly, "I occasionally speak using older phrases from other years I've lived." He felt a tad sorry for the kid, "You sure? Well...maybe it'll go away as you age. You're still pretty young." He frowned a little, not quite as lop-ided as his smile, "I've heard of birds and household objects being unlucky but not eyes....How different."

Kufer noticed the boy change the subject and decided to let it go seeing Zerda was happier when not talking about it. He chuckled at the fox's enthusiasm, amazed at his energy. If the kid ever died, he'd love to use his body, but he wasn't going to speed that up anytime soon, never. He blinked at Zerda's question, "Taste?.....Um...I'm not sure. My taste doesn't associate with my odor so if I taste worse than I may smell......That is just a warning...."
