!! How To Open a Locked Door... ((full))

A zombie meandered his way through the small corridors on the west side of the third floor, unsure of where he was or how he had gotten there. His stiff legs dragged themselves across the floor, a protruding heel bone scraping against the stone with each step. Various groans and other guttural sounds made their way past a loosely hanging jaw. A skeleton head grew out from a torn shirt that draped over his boney shoulders. It was obvious that this guy had been dead a long time; not a scrap of skin was left to cling to his drying bones. But an arrangement of mud and dying leaves took its place, caked into the crevices where muscles once held.

He must have been an averagely tall man, when he was alive, for even hunched as he was the top of his head reached 181 centimeters. His arms dangled at his sides, and his head swung from side to side as if he were looking for something, though even he wasn't quite sure what. But he knew that it was here, somewhere close. He could feel it, like some distant part of someone else's past etched into the back of his nonexistent mind.

Jami was looking for adventure on this particular day. She had made her way to the third floor of the castle by means of the Library. She had been amazed at all the books but old dusty paper eventually gets to your nose and she started sneezing. Rushing out of the library she headed further down the hall. While she ran she closed her eyes from the extreme force of her sneezes. Because of this Jami ran into a humanoid thing that had been standing in the way.

She fell backward winded. Upon opening her eyes she saw a decayed figure. White bone and covered in mud. At first her heart beat speed but then it calmed down as she remembered hearing zombies had been around the school and the island. She wasn't sue if it was a friendly or not. But better to take it as if it was dangerous just in case. She quickly got up and backed away a bit. Watching it with interest.

The zombie stumbled back a few steps backwards as the random girl slammed into him. His skinless arms flailed out to the sides, swirling in the air like propellers, but he was able to regain his balance before he tumbled to the ground. Finally settled, his empty eye sockets seemed to gaze in the general direction of the girl, but it was hard to tell exactly where those blank spaces were focused, if they could even see at all.

The other zombies in the school seemed to be preoccupied with hugging the students. But for some reason this one seemed to be different. After a brief moment of hesitation, the zombie began to limp forward once more, his head again swinging from side to side as if he had never been interrupted. It walked around the girl, as if it didn't even notice her presence, as was most-likely the case.

Not long after he made his way past her, he stopped, his head jerking abruptly to the left and was now face to face with a closed wooden door. He turned his whole body to face it, and then suddenly, without warning, rushed forward, slamming his entire body into the door. He fell backwards due to the force of it, but was quickly on his feet again and running towards the door. He rattled the doorknob and slammed his fists against the wood, but the door would not open.

It was obviously locked, but he so desperately wanted to get inside.

Jami was not expecting the zombie to suddenly start walking away. she thought it would attack or something. But when it threw itself at the door she made her way towards it. What was wrong with it? Jami poked the thing to seem if it would react to her. when it tried opening the door she tilted her head a bit in confusion. What was so important. Jami stuck a hand out to try and open it. But it was locked.

"Huh, why do you want to get in so bad?" She said, wondering if it could even understand her. Jami wanted to find out now what was inside. She could explode it, but that could go horribly wrong or have no effect. She could set it on fire but the same results as the exploding could occur. There wasn't much else she could do.

The zombie turned its blank eyes towards the girl as if noticing her for the first time. His mouth opened and closed but the noises that came out could not be deciphered as actual words with meaning. Though it did seem as if he were trying to speak. Frustrated, the zombie slammed his arms against the door once more and then walked away. At the opposite wall, he reached out and grabbed a loose stone from the wall, prying it away from the others with his bony fingers.

Once the stone was loose, he dragged his feet back to the door and lifted the stone above his head, slamming it against the wood. The door vibrated under the pressure, sending a horrible rattling noise echoing down the hallway. But the door did not give. He raised the rock above his head and gave it another try. This time the wood cracked slightly, but it was not enough to get in. What the zombie needed was a little help.

Onizo found himself walking down the third floor hallway, compelled to find out what all the noise was about. It didn't take long to find out, as he turned the bend he saw the source of it. There was a winged girl and a.... He didn't know what the thing was. Didn't look much like any Bakemono he knew about, though he knew one thing. It wasn't of the living.

Onizo approached the girl, not only to ask her but also to see the dead thing up close. "Do you....not know what that is?....And does it not need help?" These were the questions that first came up in his mind and he decided to stick with them. He recognized the girl, remembering her from the strange night all students were trapped in the dining hall. He didn't happen to remember if she told him her name though.

Jami jumped away when the zombie threw a stone at it. "Watch it!" She frowned at it but knew it wouldn't see it. Or would it? A voice came from behind her making her jump a little again. The boy behind her was familair a looked exactly like the descriptions amunet had always droned on about. She was sure this was Amunet's 'boyfriend'. "You're Onizo right?" His words had confused her a bit but AMunet never stopped talking about him in her little kitty sleep so Jami had an idea of the way he talked.

"I am sorry im not sure i understood." she just wanted to makes sure. "If you're asking what it is, It's a zombie, not living but not dead. For some reason its trying to get in the door."

The brick wasn't working. The wood was slightly dented, and splinters fell off and onto the floor, but it either wouldn't break through, or the zombie was too impatient. He dropped the brick on his foot, breaking off several dried up toe bones, but he didn't seem to notice.

He squatted down and placed his face in front of the keyhole beneath the door knob. It appeared as if he were trying to peer through even though his eye sockets were empty. He raised a bony finger and tried to stick it through the keyhole. But the knuckle was too large, and when the zombie tried to pull his hand back there was a loud popping sound as the finger was left behind.

A low growl-like noise escaped from the zombie's mouth as he tumbled backwards, falling roughly on his tail-bone. He held a hand up to his face, looking at the place where his finger had been. He turned his face up to look at the now two students that were standing near him. He tilted his head at them, and then stuck an arm out to point at the still locked door while letting out a low whine.

Onizo nodded, "No, it's not Onizo." He looked back at the zombie as the girl explained what it was and what it was doing. "I kind don't feel sorry for it. Working on closing the door so little." He almost went to stop the zombie from falling over but he didn't want it to think differently.

Onizo looked at the door. He wanted to help the zombie, but wasn't sure how. The lock was now, pretty much, useless, so trying to pick the lock, a skill Onizo didn't have anyways, was out. The doorknob looked to weak to pull the door along with it if Onizo tried to force the dor open, something he could do. The only thing left was just busting the door open. It was weakened already by the zombie's efforts. It was the most likely option for Onizo now, though not his
favorite.

Onizo took a step closer to the door, while pulling a small corked ceramic bottle. He looked at the zombie, "You might not want to move." He waved the back of his hand at the zombie, urging it to back away, before uncorking the bottle. Instantly a large black club covered with short blunt spikes appeared in his hand, replacing the bottle. Making sure the other two were out of the way, he took a precautionary swing, so he wouldn't miss the door and hit someone. He then looked at the girl. "You might not want to move too....I just can leave someone in need." He then wound up for the real swing. Swiftly, he swung the large club against the door, causing it to burst.

In the follow-through Onizo blinked, "I hope I will get in trouble for this."

Jami watched as the two try to wreck the door. When Onizo had spoken it took her a section to mix it all around to her way of speaking. Her eyes widened at he club and at his suggestion she moved straight way over to the zombie. She held a hand out to it trying to help it up.

She heard a loud sound and turned her head to look behind her. The door had broken down. "I hope you don't get in trouble too..." It was obvious she wouldn't take the blame here. The wreck was interesting non the less. She checked the zombie one last time before inspecting the door. Yup just as she thought. It was a regular door! To bad the craftsmanship was gone now. It was a worth less peice of wood. The handle might be nice though. Jami yanked it out of the splintered wood and hid it i her pocket. ""So what do you think is in there?"

The zombie paid little attention to Onizo's moves to get him to back away. Though as soon as the door was smashed, he reached up a bony arm to block the debris that might fly at him. It was a residual movement, perhaps from his life before? He glanced up to see the door busted open and the young girl offering her hand in assistance. Eager to get to his feet as quickly as possible, the zombie pulled his way up her arm, his feet sliding on the floor as he struggled on his now broken foot.

Once he was able to stand, the zombie rushed forward as fast as his dragging leg would allow. He limped violently, his arms flailing as he moved forward in an attempt to maintain his balance. But on reaching the rubble that once was the door, the zombie tripped forward on a piece of broken wood, and fell forward, sprawled out with his face on the floor. He lifted his head off the ground, revealing a broken cheekbone.

The room was covered in dust and cobwebs, which was in start contrast to the way that the headmistress usually kept her immaculate castle. Actually, the whole room seemed to have collapsed in on itself. There was the rubble of a bookcase on the left side of the room, the books themselves were strewn across the floor. Their pages were weak and would most likely crumble upon being picked up, indicating their extreme age.

In the center of the room was a pile of stones that appeared to have fallen from the large dents in the room's ceiling. Beneath the stones lay the ruins of a bed and to the right of the stones sat a victorian style couch, which seemed untouched except by the dust. The room was in such array it was as if it had just happened recently. But the cobwebs spanning from the ceiling to the rubble said that it had in fact happened many years ago.

The zombie reached his arm forward from his place on the floor and let out a sad, whining moan.

Illisandria was walking down the hallway, dodging the hugging zombies, when she heard a large crash and whipped around the corner to see what was going on. There were the remains of a wooden door and, standing in the room were Onizo, a zombie, and some female with wings (fairy perhaps?). She frowned at the mess, and then looked around at the mess of a room the four of them were standing in. Suddenly the zombie moaned, a sound unlike the normal zombie sounds, this was pitiful and longing.

She stepped up to Onizo and asked, "Hey Onizo! What's up with this zombie, he's acting different than these other hug-starved undead out there? And who tore up the door? Also, who are you?" She turned to the other girl when she asked this.

Onizo watched the zombie try to enter the room. He didn't think it could walk with the bad foot, though when it tripped, he kept with that thought. He was about to help it up when he heard a familiar voice. He turned to see the girl he had met in the library. "Illisandria? How haven't you been?" He went back to helping the zombie up, feeling to sympathic to care that it was a dead creature, also the fact that he had a few ghost-like friends back in Japan.

He walked it into the room, taking a better look at his surroundings. He looked at Illisandria. "There aren't more?" He shook his head telling himself to believe her. He then looked at the shattered ruins of the door, "I.....I didn't...." He looked around trying to figure out the importance of the room. He mumbled softly to himself, "Maybe this isn't it's room."

Sandria looked around as well, studying the shabbiness of the room and--in particular--the pile of rocks on top of the bed. "I have to agree with you, this might be its room...or maybe it was the room of someone who was important to the zombie before he-she-it died. And you?" She turned to the winged girl, "What do you think?"

Jami sat back again the wall watching the two converse. "I'm Jami(sounds like Jamie), who are you?" She held out a hand, attempting to be friendly...attempting. She had a feeling this chick wasn't someone she'd be buddy buddy with. While they talked Jami had moved forward into the room and looked at it from the door way. When she turned back she saw the other girl was looking at her. "Possibly," Jami walked into the room further touching the dust on we broken furniture. She looked at her coated finger and wiped it of on her shirt. She sneezed a couple times.

Great i ran here to get away from dust!

A cloud of smoke was stretched thin in wisps along the ceiling. It slithered much like a snake along the surface, barely noticeable unless you were looking closely. It traveled silently down the hall, pausing to swirl at the broken door, curious. It dripped down from the ceiling, the Quarin wanting to get a good look inside. He was unfamiliar with this room, and being of staff, he found that rather odd. Sargon was surprised to find the room in such disarray, surely the Headmistress would be frightened to hear of this...it couldn't be the students's doing could it?

The black smoke gathered, condensing in the doorway, two bright white wisps making eyes that glanced about. Possibly, but the cobwebs and dust spoke otherwise. Still, students should surely not be lurking about in here. Sargon noted the bodies present, hesitating on the zombie...he really did not feel like being hugged...before gathering himself together. All the smoke combined, forming a rather large form that blocked most of the light from the hall, darkening the room inside.

"What have we here?...Students wandering where they should not, perhaps?" His deep toned voice growled lowly, hinting at passive disapproval.

The zombie took quick advantage of Onizo's help, grabbing the boy's arm and using it to pull himself up until he was standing. But he didn't seem to be capable of learning from mistakes, and immediately rushed forward, only to topple forward again falling onto his hands and knees.

At least this time he was closer to his goal, his face directly in front of where the former bedframe sat crushed under a heavy pile of stone brick. He reached out with his bony fingers, grabbing a small piece of rubble and tossing it behind him. He did this again and again, skipping a brick when it was too heavy for him to lift. But most of the pieces were too heavy, and it was obvious that soon enough the zombie would run out of bits that he was able to throw. For now though, he did what he could, and he did it furiously, not seeming to notice anything or anyone else.

Onizo sighed quietly, the zombie seeming to eager to just accept help, but it did seem happier. "Couldn't be.." He mused, watching the zombie toss aside small rocks. "Maybe we shouldn't help it. It doesn't seem desperate here." He was about to start picking up some of the larger boulders when the room became darker then before.

Onizo turned his head towards the door. "N..Nani?..." He stared at the being now standing...sitting?...in the doorway. ".....O..Oh." He turned to the being, "I...I'm.....sorry. The door...was my fault. I...just couldn't leave a....person in need alone." He motioned to the zombie. He winced slightly, his head stinging from reversing his words to make sense to the dragon-like new comer. He didn't want to be misunderstood in a situation like this.

Just as Illisandria nodded her head in Jami's direction, "Illisandria." She looked over and saw the zombie was using Onizo to get up. Then it ran forward and tripped; however, it got up again and managed to stagger its way to the bed, pulling small rocks that its decaying arms could carry and throwing them off the bed. It whined pitifully and then, just as she was about to help it, the room got very dark and a commanding voice inquired of their being in that room. Sandria turned and glared at the person speaking, a large black dragon with a condescending look on his face. "Look you," she said in a nasty tone, "We're just helping this poor zombie do...whatever it is he's doing...and would appreciate very much if our motives weren't questioned thankyouverymuch." She turned back, thoroughly angry and not caring that she might have ticked off someone important, and began to help the zombie by lifting some of the bigger boulders. Sighing, she looked over and thought she had seen an almost grateful look on the undead's face.

Jami nodded as the Girl said her name, and an interesting one it was. Of course just as everone else was probably thinking Jami had a thought to help the poor dead thing scrambling through the reckage of the room. Her mind focused on exploding the pile out of the way but a voice came behind her and broke her train of thought. Instead of blowing up the pile she was afraid a differnt pile went flyting instead. Luckily it didn't make to much more mess. Angerly she turned to see who had caused this and she was a great black Dragon.

"Hello sir, who are you? " Jami asked half interested half pissed off.

Sargon growled lowly at the rude greetings he had received. In his mind, he went over the students papers he had been shown to be able to attend and serve them properly. Still he hadn't been that interested...but he thought he might have an idea to these kid's names. Raising an eyebrow at the red skinned boy, he looked around and noted the zombie trying to dig through the rubble. So, they were helping the strange creature. He dipped his head in response to Jami's question.

"I am Sargon abduEverly, personal servant to the Headmistress." His voice remained in his deep monotone, somewhat emotionless and default unimpressed. He eyed the pile that had exploded mildly with a passing interest and a hint of wariness before passing his gaze on to Illisandria. "You will always be questioned by someone for every thing you do. I suggest you get acquainted with the feeling. I was simply making sure you were not somewhere you were not supposed to be as is in my job description." The Qarin's body language suggested he was of low opinion of this hot tempered girl.

There was a pause from the dark grey beast before he stepped in to the room, the edges of his body that would have hit the door frame simply turning to smoke harmlessly before rejoining, making sure he disturbed nothing with his huge form.

"What is it he is trying to do, anyway?" Sargon nodded at the zombie with a raised brow and skeptical tone.

Coming across a rather large boulder-sized piece of rubble, the zombie stuck his arms under it and attempted to hoist it upwards. But with his rather obvious lack of muscle, the zombie only succeeded in getting his hand firmly stuck underneath the large grey rock. Wrapping the fingers of his free hand around his radius bone, he attempted to pull his hand free. Finally, there was a loud "POP!" as the hand separated from the wrist. Tiny carpel bones spilled across the floor like beads.

The zombie took a moment to look at his severed wrist. Then he reached out with his one good hand and grabbed a tiny stone, throwing it back over his head in the direction of the smokey beast. It was clear that digging through this wreckage was not something that the zombie would be able to do on his own.

Onizo looked at the zombie's attempt to lift a large rock. "Oh d...don't. You're just b...breaking yourself apart." He looked back over at the dragon, "I th..think he's looking for something." As he spoke, he went over to the rock that the zombie's hand was under and lifted it up. He then picked up as many of the bones as he could and placed them in a neat pile next to the zombie. He started lifting some of the other large boulders, now more out of curiosity than anything else.

The zombie seemed reluctant to try digging again. He looked curiously at the pile of bones that now sat beside him and watched Onizo as the boy began to move aside the boulders.

Once he dug deep enough, he would be sure to find what the zombie was looking for: the bones of someone he had once known, buried deep under the collapsed stones. Her boney hand lifted and her fingers curled, but to uncover the rest of her body, they would need to keep digging.

Jami ignored everyone comments. She slowly moved towards the zombie and Onizo. "Is that another zombie?" She questioned looking at the hand now in view. Jami herself got down and started moving rubble and stones. What was it about this other creature that this zombie wanted? Were they once friends? Maybe lovers? Or even enemies...maybe not that so much.
"
Jami looked back at the dragon in the room and replied to the question she had almost forgotten to answer, "I am not sure if we are allowed here or not, We were just being virtuous in helping a lost ...soul.

Jami remembered something though. She had met Sargon before at the lock in. It was strange that she had forgotten, but it could have been cause of she shut out those memories from her emotional experience.
