A day in the life of a lemmer.

Pai opened up the door to his room. He smiled down at his companion, surrounded by who-knows-how-many snacks piled high to the ceiling. Lemmer burped in response to his late slave.

'Why'd you forget about me?' Lemmer hissed at Pai.

Apolegetically, he raised his hands. "Sorry, I was busy. Don't worry, I didn't completely forget about you. I even left you some emergency gifts, just in case." he said, holding up a platter of cookies...or what seemed to be cookies. They didn't look the part. Pai picked up Lemmer, and placed him on the desk.

"My, my, have you gained weight? How very...not surprising." Pai said, playfully poking at Lemmer's stomach. Lemmer did look fatter, though.

'Shut up.' Lemmer squeaked.

Pai stated bluntly, "I expect you to clean up this room. There better not be any more trash the next time I'm back, or I'll disown you."

With that, Pai left the room.

Lemmer sighed, then burped again.

'I thought he was the slave...'
