Nosing Around at Midnight

With the castle asleep, or mostly so, Yvonne decided it was time to go exploring. She'd been past the fish tank in the vestibule several times, though once was enough to see that it led up through the ceiling. Ascending the grand staircase in the vestibule found her on the balcony of the second floor, but it took her a while to find stairs that would take her up further.

After going the wrong way at first and finding nothing but classrooms and the library, she found a staircase that led up and eagerly climbed it. The nymph had an endless supply of energy at this point in her life-cycle, and running up the stairs noiselessly was fun. Sneaking around was fun, for that matter. It'd been awhile since there was a decent castle or keep in Norway for her to explore, and this Lillegard was quite enjoyable.

Making her way back in the direction of the vestibule, she found herself in another large room like the entrance hall, though not quite as impressive. The stairs were split here, leading on either side of the room up to a second level (which would be floor four, if she'd counted correctly), but hardly as grand as the large staircase on the ground floor. The fish tank, however, dominated the room's middle, ending here. She approached the tank to see what she could see, dark as it might be.
