There were many doors. Too many doors, and Lunie made a mental note that he would, infact, explore every single one of them. Today he found himself standing before the door to the music room, and he briefly checked by his side to see if Alicia was still standing next to him or if she'd suddenly spontaneously gotten herself lost.

The door was opened, and Lunie gasped excitedly before the room even came into view. "It'ssobig!" he spluttered, the energy from the sugar still apparently not worn off. He bounded in, picking the nearest instrument from a table, which happened to be a flute of sorts. "Look!" he shrieked, holding it up to Alicia's face. "Lookatit! So shiny! Is this music thing, playing, good playing!!" He attempted to play it right there and then. Of course, he'd been holding it wrong, and no sound came from it. He whined in disapointment. "Plaaayy it," he begged, holding up the instrument, his eyes wide and pleading.

Alicia smiled at Lunie when he looked at her, her farewell with Owen cut short made her a little uneasy, but she quickly cheered up at Lunie's choice of exploration "wo- wow, you're right it is big" she glanced around in awe haveing never seen such mechanisms, so many odd shapes made from different materials.

she jumped slightly at Lunie's unexpected(/expected) shrieking "eep what, what is it?" she asked then adjusted her glasses to see. "i'm not sure how... but i'll try" she faint-heartedly took the flute and turned it in her hand, judging by the shape of the mouthpiece she brought it to her lips and gave a short blow. The flute gave a "thooeep" sound to her surprise, then she quickly put it down embarassed at her efforts.

A lopsided glance was given at his awkward companion at her agreement, and he eagerly awaited her testing of the instrument. He jumped in fright at the sharp, sudden sound it made, before blinking and looking to her in awe. "You- you making sound! Very loud, but is good playing, yes!" he chirped, nodding. He took a step backwards to view other instruments, not noticing a bugle horn beneath his feet. A blunt 'hOnK' sounded from it as he stepped on the bulb, the unexpectedness of it causing him to jump in alarm, his hair on end.

His fight or flight system immediately opted for 'run away like a pansy', to which he scrambled away on all fours, leaping towards what he thought was the safest shelter. That something just so happened to be a grand piano - arranged for entrancing performances, now used to carry some sort of cowardly cat-thing. He peered out from the back, sitting where the strings were, staring with squinted eyes at that terrible horn that haunted him so. He would exact his revenge one day, although he couldn't be quite sure when.

"pfff ehehehhehe oh Lunie what are you doing?" Alicia giggled, the noise the horn made certianly did give her a fright but Lunie's quick attachment to the piano was too amusing for her to be frightened for long. She picked up the horn and held it out in front of Lunie as if saying "look, it isn't so bad" she grinned to show this.

"Hiding," he whispered, afraid to speak too loudly on the off-chance that he evoked the rage of the dreaded horn once again. Although, at some point during his hiding, it had turned from a phobia to a game, and he started to giggle quietly under his breath as he peeped out at Alicia.

However, when she brought it closer, he let out an 'eep!', ducking further under his cover. He didn't trust that thing. Infact, every second that passed made him aware that it could set off at any moment, like some sort of ticking time bomb. "Get it awaaayyy!" he whined, shooing it away with a wave a hand. "Is scaarryyyyy!"

"ehehehe," Alicia giggled again as Lunie peeked out from his hideing spot, it was quite adorable she thought, though she would be too embarrassed to say.

"aw okay then," Alicia said, kind of disapointed, she turned and moved slowly to the corner where the box of other musical equipment were and placed the horn carefully in it. "there, safe now?" she turned back and looked at the piano to see if Lunie was watching then walked over to where he was and placed a hand on the piano keys that caught her eye. Something moved in the piano but since Lunie was sitting on it, it wasn't able to make a noise. However, whatever it was it might have hit him.

Alicia's giggling was somewhat contagious, and he would almost unwillingly join in, despite staring at what was undeniably an instrument of torture in her hands. He notably relaxed when she put it away, nodding meekly at her question. He watched intently with wide, green curious eyes. What was she planning on doing? He couldn't see from his angle, and he tried to lean over, but something bumped under his leg and he let out a yelp of surprise.

Practically clambering out of the piano, he landed ungracefully on the floor with a slight 'umf!' before crawling up to Alicia, aiming to latch onto her legs before staring up at her. His expression was fearful and worried. "Why is all the things in this room trying to attack me?" he squeaked cautiously. "Doesn't the music like me..? What I doing wrong?"

"oh no are you okay?" concern on her face Alicia looked down at Lunie and held out her hand to pet his head. "its okay Lunie, i pressed this white thing here and it must have moved something inside" she explained "im sure the room doesn't mean any harm" she stopped petting Lunie and pressed the keys again, this time it made several plinking noises all at once. Working out what the piano does she starts pressing each key at a time from the left to the right making it go from a low dun to a high plink. She looked over at Lunie to see what he thought while smiling brightly as if shes acomplished a wonderful tune. (which of course is not the case)

Lunie bowed his head, allowing himself to be patted with a cheered smile. "I'm okay," he squeaked, before leaping back onto both feet just to emphasise how okay he was. "Hopefully not... that would be very mean indeed!"

He looked towards Alicia at the piano, peering with squinted eyes, wondering exactly what she was doing. However, as a few sounds were shortly produced, and gasped in amazements, holding both hands to his face in awe. Awe turned to excitement and wonder, and it wasn't long until he latched to his room-mate's side again. "That's AMAZING!" he squeaked. "Is- is like magic! Magical noise of happiness!" Experimentally, he pressed down on a few keys for himself. The plinks sounded again. He danced excitedly. "Look! Looklooklook! I made a noise too! It's soo good!"

"yep!" she agreed joyfully. Alicia looked around the room once more, wondering what questionable instrument they would find next. She went back to the box where she placed the horn to plunder at whatever goods she could find. Picking up a tambourine she shakes it in awe making the tiny metal cymbals clink against each other with a shkshkshk sound. Turning around to see Lunie she beckoned with her free hand for him to come over "Look Lunie see what else you can find" She encouraged.

Lunie's attention was soon distracted from the musical container of black and white keys when Alicia discovered a new artefact of pleasant noises. In fact, without even realising it, he found his foot tapping along to the merry little chimes. He eyed it with awe for a moment before he straightened at her suggestion.

"I shall do my best!" he chirped, before diving head first into a filled container. Legs kicked aimlessly in the air before he finally emerged from the box before finally bringing up a maracas. He wasn't quite sure what he was meant to do with it, but of course the all-wise Alicia would know! With a smile he hurried back towards the green-haired girl... that is, until he noticed the rattling noise that happened with every step.

"Oh?!" He shook it purposefully, listening to the odd noises. "I think there is something inside this!" he called to Alicia, before his claws tried to skim over it, trying to find some crack to pry it open. There had to be something inside! What would be making all that noise?! He tried to look for something to hit it against, maybe to bash it open. Sighting a symbol from a drumkit, he swung it down as hard as he could.

CRASH!

In a matter of seconds, the maraca was dropped to the floor, and the feluis made scrambled beeline to hide within the back of the piano again. His tail - fluffed up to its full extent - was the only thing that was peeping out.

Literally jumping, a small "eek!" escaped her lips as Alicia very quickly flee'd in the direction opposite from the drums, the tambourine was dropped with a dull rattle. She did some kind of slide tackle to get under the piano which ruffled up her dress, her glasses had fallen off in this process but she did not realise as she was busy curling up into a ball and had her eyes shut in fear.

Waiting, the rattles and noise subsided, she blinked once twice. Nothing happened. "Lunie?" she called out "what did you dooo?"

It wasn't until a few moments passed within the dull interior of the piano that the feluis finally decreed that it was safe enough to peep out. Blinking, two large, round eyes peered around cautiously before the rest of the head emerged. Of course, the supposed 'danger' was created from his own foolish actions, but it didn't completely wipe the apprehension from his mind.

But for some reason, Alicia had suddenly vanished from the scene, and worry would've gripped his mind were it not for the fact that her voice piped up just a few moments later. "I... just wanting to see what was inside the... rattling thing..." Breathing a shaky sigh of relief that nothing appeared to be too disastrously out of hand, the feluis pulled himself over the edge of the piano, his tiny feet kicking as he struggled to find the ground. Then he did.

Crack!

Alarm surged through him like electricity, and he looked down to see what he'd stepped on. Oh no. No. Grief captured his expression as he crouched down to the ground, scooping up the remains of what appeared to be an abandoned pair of glasses. Alicia's glasses. The glass of one eye was cracked and the middle was a little twisted, and it was by no means irreparable - but in Lunie's eyes, it was quite the contrary. It was ruined forever. "Nooo..." he whined, dangling the poor accessory between a finger and thumb, staring at the awful devastation he'd created (and probably not aware of Alicia's exact whereabouts).

Alicia rolled onto her hands and knees and crawled out from under the piano to stand beside Lunie, she peeped over to see that he was holding the remains of her glasses. Realising what had happened her hands shot up to her face "O-oh dear, did you step on them? is your foot okay?" she flustered and looked down to check then looked back up to see how distraught he was "It's okay Lunie i have extra glasses remember? shall we go back to the dorm room?"she patted his shoulder reassuringly.

Hearing Alicia's voice, Lunie made a quick, frantic attempt to shield the glasses from her view; but it was obviously too late. Aiming a sheepish, apologetic smile at his room-mate, he softly stroked the rim of the glasses - heaven forbid that he induce the wrath of inanimate objects.

"My foot is fine, but your glasses are... not very fine," he admitted guiltily. However, the reassuring pat and her words did soothe his worries slightly. "Oh... oh, yes, that is good... but how are you going to see without these? What if--" He blinked worriedly. "What if you stone things? What if I am stoned?! Oh no..!" He pulled on his own ears, trying to hide his own face with them in shame.

Alicia chuckled "I can see fine... kinda, things are just a little blurry but I can see whatever's up close," her smile was dejected, it felt heart wrenching to be feared. She raised her left hand and held it out for Lunie to take "don't worry I can control it...shall we go?" she asked again as she turned slightly to face the door. "how about you guide me so I don't walk into anything?" she giggled, strangely amused by the idea.

Lunie knew that he'd have to trust Alicia's words, despite his every instinct gnawing at his mind with worry. Because, well, why would Alicia lie to him? Slightly reassured, he gave a slight smile, taking her hand as she held it out.

Despite his worry, Lunie could sense an opportunity arising - the chance to show just how protective, loving and guiding he could be. He'd be the white knight for his princess, the stallion for her carriage on a dark, moonlit night... He looked towards his room-mate, his head held that bit more higher and pompous. "Why yes, of course! ...Madame!" Huddling a little too closely to her (and in doing so, breaking all sense of personal space), he took her arm and started to tug her along excitedly... not really looking out for any obstacles on the floor.

The side of her shoe scuffed the floor as she was pulled along till she followed at Lunie's pace, while the next course of action on her mind was to replace her glasses, Alicia couldn't help but wonder if it was okay to leave the music room in such a state. This thought was rather obvious when the maraca from earlier was accidentally kicked and rattled away from them. "um maybe we should come back later to put away the instruments" the glasses were her priority without them she felt inadequate, she hoped Lunie would agree to go get them first.

At her suggestion, Lunie peeked around her to glance at the bits and bobs of instruments that lay scattered about. Apparently, 'later' meant 'now', as he bent over to retrive the poor maraca and set it back down in its box. Deciding with a small smile, that his work here was done, he again, tugged incessantly on her arm 'til the two had finally departed the room.
