Halloween Party Aftermath

Onizo trudged his way back to his room. He hardly dod much and he still felt dead. He walked in and plopped down on his bed. "Man, for a boring party, I'm beat, nya~" He rolled on his side, back facing the room, and stared at the walls through yellow cat eyes. His fluffy pink tail hanging limply over the side of the bed. He stretched pink, boa-wrapped arms and brushed furry fingers throug spiky pink hair. He didn't care that he had forgotten to undo the illusion that caused him to look and act like his friend from Japan. He was to tired for that. He stretched one more time before closing his eyes and falling to sleep. The illusion had a slight waver to it but other wise it seemed practically like there was a bakeneko sleeping on the bed. Possibly dreaming of fish.

Leon barged into the room, slamming the door behind him. He didn't particularly caring if his backwards-speaking roommate was already there or not. It wasn't as if he used the room very much anyway. The Oni could survive the night.

He promptly walked to his side of the room paying no mind to the pink mass on his roommates bed for the time being. An itch reached Leon's left arm and he scratched. Looking at the arm he realized that the sleeves of his hoody - probably the only piece of clothing he owned that had any color to it other than the blue of his jeans - had almost been completely singed off. The skin underneath the remnant's hoody sleeves was charred with burns. Ordinarily his burns healed almost instantly, but looking at these it was easy to tell that it would take at least a few days.

Leon removed his hoody and tossed it on the floor by the bed. He hadn't been wearing anything underneath, something he'd learned not to do because of how often he used his wings. There was no point burning through multiple layers of clothing for one spontaneous flight. Across his stomach were three parallel lines, scars burning an angry red that looked like they could have been made by a big cat. Recently, too.

He sat on his bed, grateful that his jeans had sustained only minimal damage from the flames. Now he looked ahead, just realizing the the body on the other bed looked nothing like the backwards boy he'd met at the lock-in.

Onizo's sleep was interrupted by a loud sound. His tail twitched as he listened, seeing if anymore noise would be made. Not to much else happened so he was about to fall asleep, but his eyes stayed open. He slowly propped himself up on one arm, and looked over his shoulder to look at his roommate. He was surprised at seeing Leon shirtless and had to fight Masa's usual kinky comment that would have come if Masa was the one here and not Onizo. He could see the boy wasn't in a good mood, and comments like that would have gotten him in a worse one.

Onizo thought about lying down again and leaving Leon to his own, keep on his good side. That's when he notticed his shoulder, so oddly pink and furry. ".....!" A Japanese curse crossed his lips and he sighed and sat up. Looking over his arms, he contemplated changing back to his normal self. His eyes travelled up to Leon, his head still down, and thought over the decision. No, he couldn't take the leaf away in front of the boy, he's already did it once and he felt pretty embarrassed even though he had been wearing clothes.

An itch came up on Leon's elbow, but he resisted the urge to scratch it, knowing that it was from the burns. He really wanted to use his energy to try to make the healing process go faster. The weight of his eyelids and the empty feeling in his stomach told them that most likely wouldn't work, though. He was exhausted.

Leon watched the pink body on his roommate's bed as he sat up. He was certain this wasn't the same boy that was supposed to be his roommate, though all he'd really registered of Onizo was red skin, a large X on his face, and that he didn't speak proper English. Leon kept his facial expression the same, honestly too tired to really care that there was a stranger in his room.

"Who are you?" He asked. He'd wanted to say it more aggressively, but didn't feel like putting the effort into it. Now an itch blossomed on his back where his left wing always came out. He could only imagine how bad the burns on his back must look.

Onizo looked at Leon a moment before widening his eyes slightly in surprise. What happened to Leon to cause all that? His eyes scanned the scars. A mildly worried look crossed his face. "Is that really something of importance right now, nya? I think getting those," he indicated the marks on his roomates stomach, "looked at should be more important, nya~." He got up and attempted to get a better look to see if his assistance could help in any way. "What happened to cause them, nya?

Leon didn't move an inch. Only his eyes seemed to give a more piercing glare in Onizo's direction and he repeated his question. "Who are you?"

Leon hated repeating himself. Even more he hated people that thought they knew something and were wrong. He felt no obligation to explain his scars to this boy. He didn't even who he was. Besides which he was used to the scars being this way and he knew that "getting them looked at" would produce no results either way.

Onizo looked at Leon a moment, then sighed and went to sit on his bed again. "Well, I guess I should change back, nya~" He slumped foreward a moment, he didn't want to poof back in front of his roommate but Leon didn't seem to care about his health. Maybe Masa's appearance was pretty suspicious, especially since Leon knew Onizo, not Masa, was his roommate. He grabbed at the air in front of him and pulled away.

A leaf suddenly appeared and a cloud of white smoke surrounded the pink body of Masa. When the smoke cleared, Onizo's normal red skinned self sat on the bed. "If you....still need reassurance....I am...Onizo."

Leon was unfazed by the boy's sudden transformation. He'd already been in the school long enough to know that this sort of thing was nothing to be surprised over. As a matter of fact, there was probably a spell in his spellbook that would allow him to do something similar. The thought crossed his mind that if the boy was capable of changing his appearance like that, then there was a chance that it was not in fact Onizo.

Leon put a lid on his mistrust, deciding he didn't care enough right now to entertain the thought any further. "Was that your Halloween costume or something?" He asked, more for conversational reasons than curiosity. Anything to avoid an awkward silence.

Leon made a move to shift positions but the pain made him stop. The only real sign that the action caused him any pain was a slight twitch at the bridge of his nose. He could feel the scar at his ankle protesting the action as well. Why was it that his gold-scars always seemed to flare up in unison? Ambrose hadn't attacked his stomach or his ankle. He didn't even feel like cursing Feign's name right now.
