The Damned Date Empty The Damned Date

Post  Spyridon Wed Mar 21, 2012 6:08 pm

Spyridon shifted a little in the chair he had been sitting in for the last hour and sighed.

He set down the book that he'd been struggling through for as long as he'd been sat down and sighed again, readjusting the skirt of his cheongsam over his legs.

The silk felt odd over his skin, he hated wearing these damned slippers that Mihai had made him wear - he didnt need shoes - and the braid felt awful against his back.

He just wanted to go back to his room, tear off these damned clothes and shoes and just go and sleep.

But he needed this damned information about Ray.

The Damned Date Empty Re: The Damned Date

Ndale tugged on the hem of his vest. His dress was simple, but he thought it rightfully elegant for this occasion. That, and it was both dressy or just nice, and he didn't quite know how dressed up he was supposed to be. This was an ensemble that dipped in to all the threads.

A white button-down shirt, nicely pressed, was fitted nicely over his torso, it's top buttons left undone to expose the hallow of his neck - the distinct lack of bandages left healing bruises and cuts open to view. It was tucked in to black slacks that hung down lean legs smoothly, seeming long and brushing the floor settled over green converse. An equally clean black vest was closed over the white top. The boy's hair was spiked, though naturally and skillfully placed or gelled, it was unclear.

Ndale walked in to the E'S sitting room, coming down from his own dorm in the building, straightening the cuff of his sleeve over some marks on his wrist from a misplaced collar. Naturally black-rimmed eyes glanced up, searching. Spotting the man seat upon one of the chairs, the feline smiled amiably.

"Hello." He announced his arrival via casual greeting as he walked over, tail trailing after languidly. Amber looked over the man's choice of outfit and impressed eyebrows rose. "You look...wonderful." The style took him a bit off guard, it seemed like a dress and he hadn't taken the man for the type, but he had to admit, it did look good and strangely suiting on him.

He glanced up when he heard footsteps and stood, the slit in one side of his cheongsam parting at the hip as he took a few steps towards the Cheetah. Underneath the black and silver silk was a pair of his usual black shorts. He had to wear something he felt comfortable in.

He nearly made a face when he felt shoes between the soles of his feet and the floor. It was definitely something he'd have too get used to. he hadn't worn shoes in far too long.

A silver brow arched at the look he got when the Cheetah's eyes ran over him. In return, his eyes ran over Ndale, eyeing his outfit. "You don't look too bad yourself when you dont look like a walking mummy." Compliment or insult? Not even Spyridon could tell...

Okay, so the date could have gone well...if he had kept his mouth shut. Ah well. If the food was good he could take credit for it and redeem himself. If not... Well, he'd just have to go without the information on Ray. He was pretty sure Ndale wouldnt give him any useful information if teh date turned out crap.

The design on the dress was rather stunning, and Ndale found himself hard pressed to tear his eyes away from it and the way the slit at the hip moved. At the compliment, though, he forced his gaze away back to the man's face. He smirked, showing a canine.

"Thanks...I guess." He gave a light chuckle and a soft enough expression. "So, what shall we be doing tonight? I'm really up for anything." Ndale maneuvered to stand beside Spyridon, offering out an arm to link limbs in a way that was friendly, but not overly intimate. It also allowed the other man to link from the front, taking the more masculine side, or from the back, the more feminine side. Ndale didn't really have a preference, linked arms were linked arms.

He figured, best start this quickly. He was sure that Spyridon didn't want to spend time aimlessly chatting about nothing important, nor spend much time with the feline than he absolutely had to. Just because he had practically manipulated the man into a date didn't mean Ndale wanted him to have a poor time. No. Ndale was eager to show him that they could indeed, have a swell enough time together.

The Damned Date Empty Re: The Damned Date

The Jinn nearly answered with: I have no clue myself, Shall we go find out what my brother set up?

But he didnt. "We're going down to the beach." His brother had decided that the beach was the best place for them to have a romantic night alone. No one else was stupid enough to go outside this time of year at night in Scotland in what the two of them were wearing. They'd freeze to death before they even finished the meal.

I bet that's what Mihai wants... He wants us to have to sit close so we dont freeze. His eyebrow twitched at the thought. His damned brother would pull something like that...

He glared down at the offered arm for a moment before sighing softly and linking his own with it. He could care less whether he took the more masculine or feminine position. He could swing either way. He was dressed to be feminine, but his sheer height demanded the more masculine position for comfort.

Comfort won out over choice of dress.

Lets get this over with...

Ndale grinned and nodded.

"Alirght, sounds interesting." His curiosity was eager to see what they could possibly do on the beach. Really, he wasn't lying with saying he was fine with anything, even if they were simply walking along the water's edge. Though, the other man seemed a little too well dressed for simply that. He was also aware of the temperature, and while he ran a temperature normally higher than the average human and kept heat well, it was going to be a bit chilly, especially if they were going to be staying out in it.

Ndale's smile gained a rather excited air.

Easily falling in to the more feminine position as Spyridon made his choice, he rested his wrist hooked over the other's arm, second hand coming up to place his palm next to his other hand, holding lightly in a romantic fashion. Ndale, though, kept some class and refrained from hanging off the other's arm. Rather, the feline kept a respectful distance between their bodies, making minimal contact.

"Lead the way, Mr. Handsome Hunter."

He glanced down at the Cheetah, almost shocked that he didn't just hang off his arm. He was even at a decent distance...

He knew Murphy's law was following him around so if he commented on it he was pretty sure that Ndale would do it just to annoy him. So he kept silent as he lead his...date out of the living room.
