Re: Better Idea
The moment it was within her reach, Audi's teeth clamped down on the apple without her even willing herself to do it. She brought up hands to help herself stuff the fruit into her mouth, coughing a little on the juice that went down the wrong way. Letting out a contented sigh, she let her arms flop back down to the floor. That wasn't nearly enough, but it was much better.
She remained laying still, staring at the ceiling, listening to the noises of the man and Solasta fussing about the kitchen. She didn't really care what they were doing, all she needed to know was if either of them was going to bring more food to her... and didn't really sound like it, so Audi made the effort of flopping herself over to the stomach to lay propped up on one elbow and see what did her new friend find so impressive. Her eyes did light up at the sight of the dead bird - meat... now that would be infinitely better than a single apple. A groan escaping her, she pushed herself up to her feet and limped over to the goblin, stomach audibly growling. Gaze locked on the turkey greedily, she outstretched her arms towards it.
"Gimme..."

Re: Better Idea
Crowley didn't like the stomach noise that was just made. He'd barely started this job and people were starving already. Brilliant, compliments to the last chef. Or maybe this little rat was just gluttonous; it was clearly showing otherwise by eating the fruit so fast she choked. Whatever, it was nauseating to watch.
As if the kitchen were part of his very being, he winced a bit whist Sol was thumping around the kitchen, he could see a door coming off any second now...oh good they were still intact. He gave a little sigh of relief, he didn't want to have to clean up anymore that as already smashed on the ground.
The bird...was meant to be tonight's dinner. Key word being 'meant', it wouldn't do anymore. It had been handled by dirty hands and he didn't feel like doing much fighting for it. Just a turkey; he'd not have time to cook it in 3 hours after everything was cleaned- to his standards anyway.
They were...willing to eat it raw. The manticore realised with a little bit of disgust. Gross. How..? They were and animals so he supposed he should have suspected something like this. Looking away a bit he didn't want to see what happened next

It wasn't that she didn't notice that the poor rat was starved, staring up at the meal with those pitiful mismatched eyes. It was that she chose ignore it, holding the turkey ever more out of her each. "I don't t'ink so," she snapped, slamming the fridge door shut as she went to circle around the ratthing to get past her. "Dis is mine. I found it!"
She glanced back at the stranger for one last time. What was his problem anyway...? Deciding that she simply did not care enough, she flipped her hair back, and simply started towards the door, kicking it open, before simply striding on out, turkey in tow.
No longer did she want to share the company of these idiots.

Re: Better Idea
When the turkey was so cruelly denied to her, her arms fell back to her sides limply and she let out an annoyed huff. A fleeting thought to try and wrestle it from Solasta passed through her mind, but it would be quite a hopeless attempt even if she wasn't so exhausted. Audi watched the goblin storm out, trying to decide whether she should be offended or not by her not sharing. Finally, she decided that no, she wouldn't be - Solasta had the full right to her find, and they did only meet today, after all. With a blink, she looked away from the door and approached the fridge to look through it herself. She seemed to have completely forgotten about the presence of the man in the kitchen, so much that when she turned around with a chunk of ham, cheese, and a whole celery in her arms, she got startled at his sight.
She squinted at him, tilting her head, wondering whether he was interesting enough to postpone her meal for... then chuckled at the silly thought. "Bye." she said, bowing her head a little, then headed for the door to follow in Solasta's footsteps and eat her food in peace and solitude.

Re: Better Idea
"Tot ziens" He said quietly, his face void of much expression other than impatience with a hint of weariness as he watched the ratgirl left.
That was...interesting and terrible. Those was the words Crowley could use for what has just happened; He knew more about how the castle residents treated the kitchen and how easy is was to just take things as a person pleased. It made him a little antsy
That would have to changed- via locking the place up when he wasn't using the kitchen. With a slump of the shoulders he shut the door and sighed. There would be no interruptions for the next hour and a bit- no students, no animals, no teachers. Work to be done.
