waiting for owen and jami

Yuuki flew through the an open window from outside--she had spotted the waiting room for the infirmary through the windows, and was quite relieved to see that one was actually open. she slid across the floor upon landing, her tennis shoes catching the floor, and nearly causing her to land flat on her face. where was Owen with Jami? panting, she flopped over onto a chair, and rubed the tattoo on her back, which still throbbed from Ketsuta's early visit. dang, she was a pain. Yuuki still felt short of breath, and slightly weakened from the experience

Considering Owen's almost snail-like pace, the wait would've been a considerable one indeed. He couldn't wrap his mind around what happened - one minute he was enjoying himself and the next - everything turned to hell. It was almost too fitting - how they'd wandered far too deep into the caves, toying with the dead. Karma was relentless.

His mind almost blanked completely - he didn't seem to be aware of anything while he carried Jami up those old fashioned stairs. It was tiring, to say the least, and he often took breaks to regain his breath. Damn it Owen, it's late at night, you shouldn't be doing this.

He reached the infirmary, looking rather shattered. Placing Jami on the nearest bed with her head resting against the pillow, he immediately buried his face into the mattress. "Nnngh..." he groaned, scratching his hair. "Just wanna sleep...."

yuuki had nearly started napping in her chair when she suddenly heard owen's voice. she head jerked up, and she followed the sound to where he had laid jami on an empty bed. she walked a little stiffly---she need to get some food and sleep before she would ever feel better---but she quickly straightened herself out before Owen noticed. he had enough to deal with--he looked beat. "hey. how is she doing?" yuuki felt like flopping over onto one of those beds, herself.

Jami had been passed out the whole time from the cave to the infirmary. She fainted from the idea of hurting a good person. SHe didn't want to but it was nessacery to help them. At the current moment she was dreaming of the picnic she had had with Owen.

"Hmm?" Owen raised his head to see Yuuki approaching him. He hadn't realised she was there. "I dunno," he flatly answered. "I'm not a doctor." Peeling himself away from the bed, he shoved his hand in his pocket, lifting out the rat he had pocketed earlier. It was motionless for a moment, and Owen panicked, before it raised its head and gave him a beady stare. 'Where am I?', the rat squeaked. "You're with me now," he whispered to it, placing it onto the bed, caging it with his arms. It scurried around aimlessly, trying to clamber over the walls that were his arms, failing miserably.

He rubbed his eyes briefly, looking back towards Yuuki and Jami. "Wha'd we do now? Just leave her...?" he frowned at the idea.

Yuuki stretched her arms up, and over her head, with her wings up and out, reaching their full 13 feet. she was lucky they didn't hit anyone, but she was a bit too stiff to care. yuuki frowned slightly at the rat running around on the bed, surprised that it was still alive.

"i don't know," she said, in answer to Owen's question. "i think i'll stay here, for when she wakes up. i'll probably end up falling asleep in a chair, though sh thought, a little too embarrassed to admit it. suddenly, she had a bit of a realization. "um...hey, owen? how much of the...fiasco in the caves did you get on tape, anyway?"

Jami rolls towards owen direction a bit and mumbles a couple things tat don't make sense. Then she clenches her fists as she enters a night mare where she is attacking another student.

Yuuki glanced down at Jami as she began to shift and make strange muttering noises. "i think she's mostly sleeping now." yuuki frowned slightly, trying to figure out what she was mumbling about. was she...having a nightmare? either way, at least she's resting, rather than being passed out cold

Owen didn't have the energy to be amazed at Yuuki's wingspan, too preoccupied with keeping his rat in control. The poor thing was chattering away, and while he couldn't make out what it was saying, he knew it was rather confused. At Yuuki's question, he reached for the camera around his neck, switching it on. He flicked through the recordings tiredly. "Umm... I got around 10 mins total... Stuff with the skeleton... Stuff with the rat... Stuff with the steam..." He shrugged. "But I turned it off when all..." he gestured to Jami on the bed, then to Yuuki. "..When all this happened."

He looked to Jami, before shaking his head and making his way to a different bed. He'd always hated these kinds - they were stiff, uncomfortable and not to mention, you were usually ill if you slept in one of these. Regardless, he was too tired to care, and hopped on anyway, resting his head backwards onto the pillow.

Yuuki watched Owen makes his way to one of the other beds with interest, nearly giggling as he plopped down on one. Lord, he must've been beat. she had been hoping that maybe he had gotten a bit of footage of....well...Ketsuta's little outburst. for some foolish reason she thought that, maybe, if she knew what it looked like, she could...control it? it was a crazy thought, but yuuki hated not having any control, and she hated herself for what she put Jami through. unfortunately though, if jami hadn't acted, ketsuta would have probably destroyed the entire castle, before moving on to bigger game.

she sighed, and began to form a make-shift water bottle--the water bottle itself being made of the same ice and energy mix as her little glowing energy orbs, which would keep it from freezing your hand while hanging onto it.--using the water vapor from the air (yuuki: the world's best filtration system XDDD). yuuki walked over to the bed and set one water bottle on the little end table next to jami's bed, then brought another one to the bed that Owen was sprawled out on. "oi," she gently tapped him with the water bottle, holding it out to him. it was the best she could do, under the circumstances. she wasn't her sister---she couldn't make produce grow on the fly. "do you want me to go and get you some food or something? you look drained."

(she always wants to help people feel better, even if water and simple healing is all that she can do on the fly--and she's not really good at healing yet. it totally drains her XD)

stirrs abit as the water bottle is placed at her side and hears noises.

Owen heard noises of Yuuki creating the water bottle, but was too lazy to raise his head and see what she was doing. His attention was turned much towards his rat (who'm he'd by now lovingly dubbed "Ninja"), who was crawling up onto his shirt. It wasn't until he tapped him with the bottle that he sat up, cupping the rat in his hand. "Thanks," he mumbled, recieving the bottle.

At the offer of food, he was almost about to reject until he realised that he was indeed rather hungry. He nodded. "Yeah. That'd be... nice." Ah, Owen, so eloquent with words as always...

she smiled slightly. "i'll be back in a few minutes..." she glanced over at Jami, and then quietly left the infirmary

At the sound the door closing Jami startled awake. She gasped and sat up. "where am I!" she said with a panic tone. Soon thought she calmed down and realized the seating was the same as the other day with Larua. "oh. " Jami looked around the room and saw a figure on another cot. "hello?" she asked carefully.

Owen watched Yuuki exit the room, popping the rat back into his shorts pocket. He was glad it didn't seem to mind staying there - at least it hadn't bit him yet. Opening the bottle, he took a long drink, gasping in satisfaction afterwards.

Jami's awakening gave him a fright, and he quickly looked in her direction, concerned. "Y-you awake?" he asked, despite the answer being quite clear. "You feelin'..." He shrugged. "...good?"

Jami soon realized by it's voice it was Owe. "Yeah. I feel better." She put her hands on her face and rubbed it as if to wipe the tiredness away. "How did we get here?

Yuuki came walking back in then, with sandwiches and apples on one big plate. there was some peanut butter, too, and some plain cheese. "i didn't know what you'd want, so---Jami, you're awake!" yuuki's face filled with relief. 'are you hungry? i got some food for you, too."

"Mmhm." At least he could take solace in the fact that she was awake and well. He was dreading that she wouldn't wake til morning, which of course, would only give him another reason to worry. At her question, he looked to the window as if there was a sudden distraction. "Umm.. The other girl flew here," he began, scratching his hair, before reducing his voice to a mumble. "...Then I carried you."

The smell of food reached his nostrils before Yuuki had even entered the room, and he smiled, almost grateful for the interruption. "No, that's great," he remarked, standing up from the bed, picking a sandwich off the plate. "You made these?" he asked, biting into one.

Jami had a shocked look on her face. He would really carry her to the infermary? What a good friend she had. "Thank you." Then Yuuki came in. "Yuuki! Are you ok?" she asked worridly. Then she saw the food.

"yeah," yuuki said to owen. "and i didn't know if your erm....little friend would want something, so i grabbed some extra stuff too." then she turned to Jami. "i'm fine...i was more concerned about you." she smiled and, after owen had grabbed what he wanted, walked with the plate of food over to jami, and set it next to the water bottle by her bed. she grabbed a sandwich (peanut butter and jelly ^^ there are a whole bunch of different kinds that she brought, so just make it what ever your character would want...doesn't matter.) and an apple for herself, then sat on a chair near jami, with her legs up on the chair, and her feet partially tucked under her. she bit into the sandwich, and took a drink of the water bottle that she'd made for herself earlier. "when did you wake up?" she asked jami

"when you left i guess" she gave out a fry laugh . Jami took a drink from the water bottle and a bit from the turkey sandwich. "I am fine now. Guess I am just not use to hurting a friend and my body shut down. Thank you guys for taking care of me. I really apreshiate it!" Jami yawned. Even though she just woke up she was exausted.

"You guys can goto your rooms. I think i can walk, so I'll be heading there." She got up to test her legs. She went overr to Yuuki and held out her arms for a hug of thanks, and ood bye. After she went up to Owen to do the same.

When Jami went to hug Yuuki, she was a bit surprised...but glad. she hugged her back, tightly. "hey, jami....i know you weren't comfortable with what you did, and...i just wanted to say thanks. and if it makes you feel better, you probably kept Lillegard Castle from being annihilated by Ketsuta..." she smiled wryly. "i sincerely hope you don't have to do it again, though....go and get some sleep." she paused, then added, "maybe, owen, you could walk her to her room, to make sure she gets there alright?" she smiled in a sort of conspiratorial way at Jami when owen wasn't watching, combined with a quick raise of one eyebrow.

Trying to ignore the shocked expression on Jami, he bit down on his peanut butter and jelly sandwich, finding it a good enough excuse not to reply. He remained quiet while they chatted, finishing off his food by the time Jami went to hug Yuuki. What he didn't expect was her to come over and envelope him too. He slowly, almost robotically returned the hug, still not quite comfortable with being in quite close proximity to a girl.

It took him longer than he needed to respond to Yuuki's suggestion. "Oh... sure..." He looked to Jami. "She'll need to show me where it is though..." Yawning, he gave the plate of food a glance, noticing there was still some left. "...We're not leaving that behind, are we?"

Jami seeing the plate Owen pointed out replied, "We can take it with us. I am starving. If you don't mind Yuuki? I'll be fine going by self selfto my room, but if you insist!" Yuuki must have caught on the fact Jami had a bit of a crush on Owen. Maybe the walk was better with some company anyway.

yuuki smiled. "yeah, you guys go on ahead, and take the plate of food with you. i'll just be flying back to my room,i think. the rest of me is sort of tired, but my wings aren't ^^." she stood, streched, and walked over to a window to open it. setting one foot on the sill, she turned to look back at owen and jami. "'night guys" she said, and then quietly jumped out, her wings whooshing out as soon as they cleared the window.
